RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Aftermarket Remanufactured Manager supports the Aftermarket Organization/Field Service Managers/Field Service Engineers with activities necessary to schedule, deploy and execute superior services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing business strategies to penetrate new markets and create additional opportunities for remanufactured equipment. Revenue growth for this business segment is a priority. You will be responsible for Project Management of strategic customers in relation to Remanufactured Equipment and the implementation of strategic programs, processes, procedures and policies which will have an organizational impact. You are required to follow IQ and align with our integrated business planning strategies.
 
 
MAIN TASKS:
  • Support the newly combined Aftermarket organization as well as assisting to develop, establish and deploy Remanufactured Equipment strategy for global regions.
  • Oversee Aftermarket Remanufactured Equipment Supervisors, Remanufactured Equipment Planner and Operations technicians within the team, provide support, training and development.
  • Work directly with other Aftermarket Managers to identify, prioritize and develop new opportunities for Remanufactured Equipment and services.
  • Work in close coordination with the regional Sales Managers to maximize synergies of existing organizational resources and establish common plans, structures for Remanufactured Equipment.
  • Establish strong networking between regional Measurement Solutions Aftermarket organization and other aftermarket and service organizations to leverage TechnipFMC resources and ensure transfer of best practices throughout the Remanufactured Equipment organization.
  • Sales plan that pushes and promotes available Remanufactured Equipment to TechnipFMC sales, Direct Sites, Service Organization and potential customers.
  • Plan to move operation to sustain growth (evaluate tools and equipment required for a growing business)
  • Initially track on-time delivery to established or agreed to date, and establish SOP’s to track on-time to customer request date.
  • Maintain finished goods to established levels.
  • Provide formal remanufactured product quotations and billable service repair quotations. 
  • Provide logistical support for all used equipment buy-backs and outbound remanufactured sales orders complete with tracking detail.
  • Establish a Remanufactured Equipment customer database; utilizing the customer information from ERP system.
  • Support and provide guidance to the Remanufactured Equipment Supervisors in relation to the processing of incoming remanufactured equipment orders, review of technical specifications, pricing and discounting.  Obtain additional information or clarification as required.  Provide follow-up as required.
  • Provide inside support to the operation to ensure proper procedures are followed and to respond to customer requirements.
  • Provide input to production scheduling for requested order delivery dates. Maintain sales order due dates based on the scheduled time slots and update due dates as the production schedule changes.  Communicate with customers as required.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory record keeping. Manage inventory and replenishment processes to support customer demand.
  • Interface with Production, Planning, Procurement as required to meet requirements of Remanufactured Equipment customers and meet promised delivery dates.
  • Develop a working capital strategy that is in alignment with Measurement Solutions to drive correct inventory needs and allow for financial justification while also driving customer success.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • Master’s degree, preferred
  • Typically 6+ years experience in the field
  • Typically 3+ years supervisory and/or management experience
  • Ability to manage a single function department within the organization with operational responsibilities
  • Requires broad knowledge of at least one specialized function or multiple related functions and have the ability to act as a key resource for this area of responsibility
  • Required to have proven experience to implement programs and processes to achieve business results
  • Must be able to implement strategic programs and policies; develop departmental plans, including business, production and organizational priorities.
  • Strong Six Sigma or Lean Process improvement background highly preferred.
  • Must possess and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills, organizational skills, proficiency in planning and negotiation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.  Must be able to operate within a strong team environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and SAP operation.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports
  • Ability to independently establish work tasks in order to successfully meet expectations
 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
The majority of the time will be spent in an office environment. Additional time will be spent on the shop floor exposed to a typical manufacturing environment and exposure to high noise, heavy machinery. PPE is required.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
Long periods of sitting at the computer and working on the phone. Regular walking throughout the plant to manage and coordinate. Occasional days of mechanical teardown when necessary. Travel required.
