JOB PURPOSE: 

Responsible for the oversight and management of the team members. Responsible for developing and maintaining process and procedure to ensure accurate and timely financial information.


REPORTING LINES AND INTERACTIONS:
Operationally reports to: APAC Accounting Director

Key interactions (internally, externally):
Internally: GL Team, Finance Division Team
Externally: Auditor, TechnipFMC members

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have: 
  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or certified as a Public Accountant with registered body.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field. Experience in consolidation activities and exposure to computerized accounting system is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and good technical knowledge in IFRS.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical ability.
  • Fluent in written and spoken in Bahasa and English.    
Nice to have: 
  • ACCA/MICPA/CPA/CIMA professional qualification.
  • Familiar with Ms. Office especially in Ms. Excel.
  • Experience in the petrochemical / oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
  • Able to work under pressure and independently under minimum supervision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Internal control – Financial perspective
  • Develops, maintain, and implements policies and procedures designed to identify, manage and control risk, and maintain an effective and efficient control environment. 
  • Monitors and improve key internal controls, focusing on errors detection and maintaining proper segregation of duties.
  • To ensure the key internal controls being proper implemented.
  • Dealing with Internal Auditor for any issue arise pertaining to internal control.
2) SOX Compliance
  • Involvement in the implementation of SOX compliance.
  • Dealing with the auditor for the SOX audit. 
  • To ensure the accounting processes is compliance with SOX requirement.
3) Processes improvement inclusive AP, AR, Interco and GL 
  • Constantly identifies opportunities for improving and standardizing processes in all key functional areas to promote efficiency and work with process owners to implement those opportunities.
4) HFM Reporting (Quarterly) 
  • Produce the HFM BS and HFM PL and input into HFM.
  • Prepared all the working and disclosure included the IFRS15 working, Credit risk working, opening adjustment working etc.
  • Perform HID file upload and reconciliation.
  • Posting of HFM consol journal. 
  • Perform cash update working.
  • Ensure all control in HFM has been clear prior to level 4 promotion.
5) Perform analytical review
  • Prepare balance sheet analysis on quarterly basis.
  • Assist APAC Accounting Director for the account analytical review for other APAC entities.
6) Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
  • Produce monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.
  • Perform accounting analysis.
  • Work with other team lead for the balance sheet clean up initiative. 
7) Monitors and communicate month-end closing activities.
8) Perform other duties as assigned by APAC Accounting Director.
9) Attend to issues and queries from various departments.
