About the Role: (Job Purpose)
The Brownfield Lead role is responsible for the delivery and/or coordination of technically complex and multidiscipline studies related to all brownfield aspects of the upstream processing including oil separation, gas processing, and water treatment.  The role is regarded as an expert in brownfield engineering and is responsible for commerical presence of Brownfield engineering and mentorship and development of less experienced engineers.
In This Role the Person Will: (Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks)
Oversee and lead brownfield efforts on major projects and provide process support across a range of oil and gas projects.  
Apply knowledge of start-up and commissioning activities of upstream/mid-stream facilities to ensure project success. 
Manage the technical interface with vendors regarding technology application and technical package evaluation. 
Identify and solve respective project challenges within the allotted time and budget constraints. 
Advise on delivering capacity constraints analysis, debottlenecking studies and troubleshooting existing facilities. 
Influence operating philosophies and control narratives. 
Function as expert in assessing the engineering detail required at appraise select phase of brownfield scope.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary project environment where communication with other discipline engineers is key to project success. 
Define brownfield business development content and partner with management and sales team to present capabilities and help capture new customers  
Qualified Applicants Should Have the Following: (Requirement)
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical/mechanical preferred)
Minimum of 10 years’ experience within E&P Industry with emphasis in the area of upstream facilities design. 
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with all Process modeling tools like Hysys, Unisim, flarenet etc. 
Minimum of 5 years of experience in conceptual/front end design capacity, process system constraints analysis , debottlenecking, troubleshooting, obsolescence review , 3d model reviews and review and update of the operating guidelines. 
Experience in estimating and creating execution plans for brownfield work scopes.
Demonstrated knowledge of applied Process skills including a fundamental understanding of piping/layout, electrical, C&I, structural and field operations disciplines and manage the discipline interface.
Knowledge of offshore construction resource requirements and sequencing, modularization and the impact of design option selection on constructability. 
Strong written and communicational skills are essential. 
Demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and quality. 
Must be a self-starter and committed to team success. 
Strong problem solving abilities to come up with creative solutions.
