Job Purpose;

The Compliance Officer assists the Regional Compliance Officer in overseeing and implementing the Business Compliance Program, promoting and evaluating compliance issues within TechnipFMC APAC Region.

Reporting Lines & Interactions;

Hierarchically reports to: Regional Compliance Counsel
Operationally reports to: Regional Compliance Counsel
Directly Supervises: n/a
Key Interaction:
Internally: Internal stakeholders (sales, business development, projects, operations)
Externally: Clients, partners and external legal counsel.

Job Requirement:
  • Law Degree from an international recognized institution.
  • 3 years post qualified experience (PQE)
  • Experience in overseeing ethic and compliance matters in a multinational company.
  • Experience in drafting policies and communication emails.
  • Ability to write reports, data tracking and perform legal and compliance analysis.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional English proficiency.
  • Able to work comfortably with colleagues across various nationalities.
  • Strong analytical skills and adapt at making judgment calls.
  • High degree of professionalism, credibility and integrity.
Preferred Requirement;
  • Post-graduate degree in business, law, compliance or related functions.
  • Admitted to practice law in a common law jurisdiction.
  • Experience as an in-house legal counsel with contract drafting skills or practicing corporate law at a law firm.
  • Experience in conducting or facilitating the following;
- internal compliance audit
- internal compliance investigation
- compliance due diligence on third parties
- experience in rolling out compliance program/ policies in a multinational company.
- experience in dealing with regulators and governmental authorities.

Main Accountabilities;

The Compliance Officer assists the Regional Compliance team in ensuring the application of the Code of Business Conduct and the effective implementation of the Group's ethics and compliance program (the "Business Compliance Program"), with a view to prevent and detect violations of law and other misconduct and to promote ethical practices and more generally, executes such other functions related to the Business Compliance Program as delegated by the team members of the Compliance team.
