· Develop and facilitate the overall supply chain strategy including cost reductions, lead-time improvements, logistics management, inventory management and supplier improvement.
· Provide leadership to Supply Chain team that includes performance management, mentoring, hiring, development and training.
· Facilitate complex supplier negotiations, material cost reduction efforts, pricing and delivery improvements, and other issues related to supply chain management.
· Drive lean/continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
· Work closely with product development teams to coordinate Supply Chain deliverables needed to meet prototype and production ramp schedules.
· Track supplier Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) performance and drive improvement.
· Develop, maintain and report department performance metrics.
· Ensure Supply Chain processes are current and in accordance with corporate requirements.
· Ensure execution of subcontracted work.
· Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Other applicable duties, as assigned or required. |
