Field Superintendent - Flow Testing Services

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to lead without supervision
  • Manage Production Testing Supervisors
  • Perform/review/audit Lease sites
  • Conduct regular field audits
  • Create a proactive safety and service quality environment, including proper process/procedure in performing safety meetings regularly
  • Consistently review safety paperwork
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environment training is current and recorded
  • Demonstrate high work quality and commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment for those to follow
  • Review best OPR, SOP, JSA
  • Responsible for proper equipment performance and maintenance
  • Consistently communicate with company man/consultants
  • Conduct assessment of field staff and relay results to training coordinator/manager
  • Perform pre-job analysis, develop a plan of action
  • Identify, resolve, and support crew needs
  • Identify and resolve client needs
  • Identify safety issues and perform necessary follow up
  • Assist with quarterly performance evaluations
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with Production Testing Services Manager
  • Ability to make on site personnel and equipment decisions, including critical situations
  • Various presentations, budgeting, and management reports as needed
  • Expert knowledge of all Production Testing Services equipment and Fekete software
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment
  • Financial accountability for the department
  • Scheduling, direction, and training of Production Testing Services employees
  • Must have meet TechnipFMC Driver qualifications as driving is an essential function of this role 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Assist Production Testing Manager including relief basis
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Good time management skills
  • Five or more years preferred Production Testing experience
  • Two or more years preferred in a supervisory role
  • Excellent computer skills with the flexibility to quickly learn new software
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of personnel
  • Able to analyze and resolve problems 
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Self-Starter
  • Handle multiple projects and can set priorities and achieve project deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
  • Consistently practice safe driving
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including away from home
  • Able to work proficiently in all weather conditions
  • Coordinates technical and logistic support for Operators and Supervisors
  • P&L responsibilities and accountability
  • Creates schedule, specific requirements for equipment, people, and materials
  • Review proposals submitted by Technical Sales Support group to ensure accuracy
  • Consult with U.S. Operations Manager on non-routine work requests
  • Prepare job package for Operators and Supervisors
  • Responsible for the auditing of FIRE tickets
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives and programs
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for Operators and Supervisors
  • Serves as on call representative
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environment training is current and recorded for Operators and Supervisors
  • Approve Timesheets, FIRE Tickets and PO’s
  • Hire, promote and terminate personnel
  • Participate and attend customer meetings with sales reps to provide technical input
  • All other duties as may be assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Spends 75% of time in field and 25% of time in office environment. Some exposure to possible hazards including noise, heavy equipment and shop traffic.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Some heavy lifting may be required if performing duties in the shop or on site. Frequent sitting and operating computer and on the telephone.
