DEPARTMENT:

 

Reports to FP&A manager for Surface Americas in Houston, TX.

 

POSITION PURPOSE:  

 

Support the Surface Americas finance organization in providing timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting for the business unit.

 

POSITION DUTIES:  

 

·         Collects and analyzes accounting, financial and/or cost information.

 

·         Tracks actual results against plan/budget and assists with developing explanations on variances.

 

·         Assists in providing accurate reporting of financial data which complies with TechnipFMC financial standards.

 

·         Support operations management and other departments with financial statement analysis and other inquires.

 

·         Assist in the development of financial plans, forecast, and budgets for the business.

 

·         Extract and analyze large data sets from various sources for use in reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

 

·         Publish and distribute weekly/monthly performance reports to organization.

 

·         Perform a variety of routine entry-level Accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 4+ years of experience.

 

·         Good understanding of Accounting and Financial theory and principles.

 

·         Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint.

 

·         Demonstrated ability to solve problems and to design process improvements.

 

·         Hyperion experience desirable.

 

·         Financial statement review, consolidations, and variance analysis experience desirable.

 

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:   Primarily works in an office environment.  The environment is fast-paced with repetitive tasks.  There will be multiple priorities to manage and constant change.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Frequent sitting and operating a computer or participating in meetings.
