Manage all operational activities in the field (at the well-site) with full P&L responsibility, to include flow testing service, frac flowback, and other well-site operations in support of external customers.  Prioritize activities and allocate resources across crews and field locations to ensure quality, error-free products and services to customers while meeting safety, operational and financial goals.  Responsible for the on-time delivery of products and services to the well-site.  Responsible for developing staff, recognizing high-potential employees, and optimizing workforce shifts to provide appropriate, cost effective coverage for all required services.



·         Oversees technical and logistic support for Operators and Supervisors

·         Regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent

·         Profit and Loss responsibilities and accountability

·         Creates schedule, specific requirements for equipment, people, and materials

·         Reviews proposals submitted by Technical Sales Support group to ensure accuracy

·         Consults with U.S. Operations Manager on non-routine work requests

·         Prepares job package for Operators and Supervisors

·         Responsible for the auditing of FIRE tickets

·         Participates in HSE and Quality initiatives and programs

·         Serves as the initial point of contact for Operators and Supervisors

·         Serves as on call representative

·         Ensures that all Health, Safety, and Environment training is current and recorded for Operators and Supervisors

·         Approves Timesheets, FIRE Tickets and PO’s

·         Hires, promotes, disciplines, and terminates personnel

·         Participates in and attends customer meetings with sales representatives to provide technical input

·         All other duties as may be assigned




·         High School education or G.E.D. plus Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

·         Technical school training with strong mechanical aptitude.

·         At least five years of related experience and some Field Supervisory experience.

·         Ability to complete performance reviews and provide constructive performance feedback.

·         Valid and current driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

·         Good organizational skills with attention to detail.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Demonstrate ability to independently consolidate and analyze information from various sources to develop effective overall project schedules.

·         Demonstrate strong planning skills and can handle multiple tasks and work independently with minimal direction.

·         Solid understanding of internal and external economic factors such as costs, and profit impact of decisions affecting the base operation’s business.

·         Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a team based environment.

·         Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office including word processing and spreadsheet software.  SAP experience is an asset.



  • Spends 75% of time in office environment. Spends 25% of time in field. Some exposure to possible hazards including noise, heavy equipment and shop traffic.



  • Frequent sitting and operating computer and telephone.  Some heavy lifting may be required if assisting with duties in the shop or on site.
