POSITION PURPOSE: 
Coordinate all Flow Testing operational activities within the shop, to include flowline inspection and repair, and other in-shop service operations in support of external customer and Flow Testing Services.  Prioritize activities and allocate resources across the shop to ensure quality, error-free products and services to customers while meeting safety, operational and financial goals. Responsible for the on-time delivery of products and services to both internal and external customers.
POSITION DUTIES: 
  • Partners with the sales organization in the sales, service and distribution efforts of the base.
  • Plans and coordinates shop maintenance to ensure that all flow testing assets are in a field-ready state.
  • Collaborates with Inventory and Logistics Manager(s) to ensure that relevant inventory levels are proactively maintained to fill operational demands. Ensure non-standard material requests are reviewed, discussed and approved by Service Supervisor.
  • Identifies opportunities for cost saving improvement regarding materials price by collaborating with Flow Testing Service Specialist.  
  • Schedule iron recertification to ensure that all 1502 and 206 piping available to the base is in a field-ready state based on requirements set by the Flow Testing Service Supervisor.
  • Ensure Separators, Desander’s, Flarestacks and generators are field ready once requested by Service supervisor / Field Superintendent.
  • Responsible for ensuring that flow iron and auxiliary equipment/consumables are packaged and prepared for upcoming jobs with the help of shop personnel.
  • Manages the transportation of flow testing equipment to and from the shop. Generates BOLs, and submits trucking invoices for payment.
  • Audits field maintenance logs to ensure that equipment is being properly serviced while on client locations.
  • Maintains a consistent inventory count of flow iron and assets available to the base. Partners with the Service Supervisor and Sales to ensure that all upcoming asset needs are met.
  • Work with Sales and the Asset / Rental Manager(s) to maximize availability of all assets IAW demand planning and unplanned opportunistic rentals.
  • Ensure that all shop activities are performed IAW the strictest standards of quality to prevent non-conformances and quality escapes to customers.
  • Ensure that rental job documentation meets quality and timeliness requirements for success. 
  • Manages all shop operational resources and allocates appropriately to maximize capacity utilization.
  • Tracks personnel utilization and works to minimize nonproductive time; sign off on daily task reporting in the shop; Partners with the Service Supervisor to create daily shop tickets.
  • Reviews and approves invoices and purchase orders as needed, as well as purchasing of supplies and equipment for the shop.
  • As local process owner, ensures all Shop Operators have all controlling inputs, standards and other resources required to conform to requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with API and ISO guidelines.
  • Participates in the Quality System and Self-Managed Impact Quality (SMIQ).
  • Promotes “Destination Zero” and “No Touch” to help create a workplace environment that fosters a positive HSE culture.
  • Participates in regular HSE shop audits and is responsible for the timely submission of HSE incidents into the Synergi system.
  • Ensures compliance of the HSE and Quality policies and procedures by contractors and visitors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school education or equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of field experience in Oil & Gas, preferably Flow Testing.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, judgment, and resourcefulness with the ability to find creative solutions to multi-faceted and/or time sensitive problems
  • Demonstrates the ability to deal with numerous and changing priorities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able and willing to travel
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be effective in building relationships with internal and external customers
  • PC skills with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and the ability to optimize the use of technology and systems to streamline processes and increase efficiency
  • Must be customer focused with a strong commitment to Customer Success
  • Understands operational commitments and impact on related area
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:  
Temperature controlled office environment, with appropriate amount of time in shop environment and / or on customer location to suitably understand and manage operations. May be exposed to possible hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Frequently standing and operating computer.  Occasional lifting of heavy loads, up to 50 lbs.  Driving vehicles.
