Bilingual Strategic HR Business Partner

As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition. Manages people management agenda in a company’s business unit/area, and acts as a facilitator of HR and business processes. The HRBP works very closely with the HR Manager for support to the HR department as well as other departments.

Business Partnering

  • Is the single point of contact for the employees and managers for assigned client groups.
  • Ensures that the functional and business objectives are carried throughout the organization and provides support to Management and Employees as needed/required.
  • Builds strong relationships with managers; meeting on a regular basis to keep current on the needs of the business and to keep client managers informed of HR initiatives and provide advice on HR matters.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the overall business in addition to the products/services of assigned client groups.
  • Interacts with internal employees at all levels of the organization. Negotiates, solves problems, and provides technical advice to employees and managers on a variety of workplace issues and conflicts. Interacts with external vendors and job applicants.

Talent Acquisition

  • Assists HR and hiring managers on interviewing leadership positions. Works with recruiting and managers to ensure open positions are filled.

Learning and Development

  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, and career development).
  • Assists in identify training needs for client groups and individual coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Reinforces the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching

Compensation and Benefits

  • Provides assistance, guidance, and compliance with TechnipFMC compensation programs. 
  • Assists HR Manager and managers on setting base pay and incentive/bonus compensation and with making equity award recommendations.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Identifies HR services/programs (people practices) that will assist clients in meeting their business goals, as well as retaining and engaging employees.
  • Conducts exit interviews and coordinates employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback methods to identify work environment trends and improvement opportunities, and recommends strategies for improving employee engagement and retention.

Organizational Development & Design

  • Collaborates with line management, employees and other HR & Functional Managers to evaluate existing, and implement new HR programs.  Ensure new policies and programs are effectively communicated and meet defined goals and objectives.

Talent Management

  • Assists with implementation and administration of the Talent Management program to include talking talents, development planning, and succession planning.
  • Assists with ensuring a consistent and rigorous Performance Development Discussion occurs with effective SMART goals


  • Minimum 4+ years relevant human resources experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant degree
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Relevant experience with human resources information systems (SAP) and methods is a plus
  • Relevant experience working directly with Mexican and Colombian Labor Work Council, as well as understanding of basic local Mexican and Colombian laws, rules and regulations within areas of HR is a must, and desirable within areas of Health Safety and Environment (HSE).
