Main missions:

Attached (e) to the Head of the Instrumentation Service of our Design Office, within our Loading Systems business, your missions will be as follows::

 
  • Realize the design for the instrumentation, control and hydraulic part of the marine loading arms,

  • Analyze and interpret customer specifications,
  • Develop standardization of documents such as PID (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams), interconnection diagrams, hydraulic assembly diagrams, etc.
  • Optimize simple and complex control systems, reliability levels and functional analysis of loading arms,
  • Write the specifications for the electrical / hydraulic subcontractors, from the project specifications,
  • Develop factory testing procedures, including inspection and troubleshooting,
  • Actively participate in the definition of procedures ensuring the optimal use of marine loading arms, both for standard models and new products,
  • Collaborate with other departments on different projects if necessary.

     

    Profile & expected skills :
  • You hold at least a BAC + 3 or an engineering degree, ideally specialized in instrumentation or automation,

  • You justify at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, in an industrial environment, ideally in Oil & Gas,

  • You have strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagrams, necessary for the design of our products,

  • You have a working knowledge of international codes and equipment used in explosive zones (ATEX),

  • You are recognized for your team spirit and analysis spirit, as well as your ability to solve complex problems,

  • You master the computer tool: Office, AutoCAD, etc. The Master of Team Center (UGS) is a plus,

  • You speak English both in speaking and in writing, so as to write relevant reports, justifying your choices both internally and with our clients,

  • Experience in project engineering is valuable.
