Position Overview

This position is tasked with performing subsea installation analysis, mainly related to the reel lay, J-lay, S-Lay and flexible pipeline installation techniques, subsea structures lift and deployment to seabed. Additionally, this role will report project status to Installation Analysis Lead and advise required resources adjustments.

 

Responsibilities/tasks may include:

  • Ensure designs and analyses are performed in compliance with the established design rules and procedures within TechnipFMC
  • Ensure the correct software and latest release are used for the design and analysis work
  • Ensure the design and analysis work is performed with the latest up-to-date project data
  • Ensure installation feasibility of rigid pipelines, flexible pipelines, umbilical’s, and subsea structures
  • Ensure deliverables are issued as per schedule
  • Write technical project documents (such as memo and installation analysis reports, etc.)
  • Perform quality assurance check of analysis work of peer installation analysis engineers
  • Liaise with Installation Analysis Lead and/or Project Team for project data, installation feasibility
  • Liaise with Installation Analysis Lead and/or Project Team to clarify aspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreed time-frame
  • Liaise with the Drafting Supervisor for all DRAPS configuration issues
  • Assist as needed Installation Analysis Lead to clarify installation analysis concerns with project team and client
  • Consolidate Team experience in discipline

Position Qualifications


Basic/required:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of installation analysis software experience (Orcaflex©, Flexcom©, Deeplines©, Offpipe, etc.)
  • 2 or more years of experience in offshore installation related activities
  • PC word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Effective English Oral and written communication
