As an engineer with TechnipFMC, you will directly influence future technology and the world’s economy. The manufacturing engineer position is a liaison between product engineering and production operations. It is very hands on, requires independent thinking and innovation to improve safety, quality, delivery and costs.

Essential Job Functions
• Interact with product development to implement design changes and methods to consolidate like tooling, fixturing and process
• Specifies, designs and fabricates tooling and fixturing to enable a safe and quality build process, including go/no go gauges to enable quality auditing
• Observes current production processes and applies lean principals to develop and implement improvements with measurable benefits to eliminate waste within all levels of business operations
• Gather and analyze data for root cause and problem solving quality, product, and process issues
• Updates documentation (BOM, drawings, and work instructions) through the formal change order process
• Collaborate and engage with others by seeking their input and facilitating the creation of a process that is accepted by all stakeholders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level working toward a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a desire and emphasis in Manufacturing Engineering.
• An understanding of lean principles
• Hands-on experience with electrical components, assemblies, and circuit boards (Electrical)
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (Mechanical)
• Experience in tooling and fixture design (Mechanical)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that drives collaboration and teamwork
• Familiarity with understanding product designs through Solidworks or CAD, assembly documentation or another method.
