  • Plans the work for, and supervises, the MMR assembly and test team comprising of Technicians and Helpers, in order to meet customer requirements. Also plans and expedites work carried out by local suppliers
  • Provides technical support, makes sure that equipment is correctly maintained, and ensures conformance to company policy and procedures in the Workshop
  • Key goals are Safety, Quality, OTD and meeting man-hour targets
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Day to day supervision of the MMR assembly and test team
  • Schedules MMR activities, plans overtime, and communicates status
  • Follows requirements identified in Service Orders
  • Provides technical support for the team and resolves problems as they arise
  • Coordinates TPM (maintenance) activities in the Workshop
  • Manages all required testing equipment, tools and fixtures
  • Works with engineers on method improvements to increase productivity and cost effectiveness
  • Leads Safety initiatives and 5S improvements in the Workshop
  • Coordinates with subcontractors to ensure that requirements are met
  • Develops the team including use of Goals, Performance Reviews and identifying Training Requirements
Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Directly responsible for MMR Quality, OTD and meeting man hour targets
  • Must be able to lead and resolve problems with a minimum of guidance
  • Pressure testing ensures the integrity of pressure retaining equipment, however we do rely on the MMR team to assemble equipment correctly – this relies on good training and good supervision
  • Impact of errors is increased costs, missed delivery dates and damaged reputation of the company
Work Environment:
  • Spends 50-75% of time in shop environment with no AC.  Major hazards are materials handling (forklifts and overhead cranes) and pressure testing
  • Physically fit
Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a workshop, manufacturing or field service environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Oil Field Services environment and familiarity with TechnipFMC wellhead products
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Good written and spoken English essential, Urdu also an advantage.  Confident communicator
  • Self-starter, with good organization and planning skills
  • Good PC skills including Outlook and Excel.  SAP or similar business execution system experience preferred
  • Willingness to work long hours when necessary to meet customer requirements
