Mobility Manager

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced Mobility Manager to lead our Americas group headquartered in Houston, Texas.

In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the company’s North American mobility program, ensuring the program fully supports the company’s business needs. You will oversee both international and domestic assignments, one-way domestic and international relocations and immigration. In addition, you will partner closely with HRBP’s, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Legal, Payroll, Tax, Business Leaders and other external service providers to ensure a seamless mobility experience for our people. The role is responsible for ensuring a high level of service with a key focus on employee experience and efficient mobility programs. Additionally, this person is responsible for program compliance and supplier partner management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for domestic mobility, expatriate and rotator assignment lifecycle including activities such as 1:1 consultation, pre-assignment activities, physical move, and repatriation processes.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on all mobility matters to HRBPs, field HR, line managers and international assignees.
• Knowledge of expat/inpat tax processing. Liaison with payroll and tax provider for expat/inpat US tax filings and tax equalization processing.
• Prepare assignee costing projections and develop packages for long or short-term assignees, commuters, permanent transferees and international hires
• Communicate packages to HRBPs, field HR, line managers and assignees and answer all queries
• Work closely with the key stakeholders to ensure the quality of the entire expatriate experience on all aspect of international relocations
• Manage requests for exceptions with consistency, tact and good judgment; escalate issues as appropriate
• Participate in shaping strategic orientations for the global mobility function
• Perform competitive analysis and business intelligence on mobility management, staying apprised of market trends (expat compensation and benefits) and legal developments (immigration, tax, etc.) in region under responsibility
• Provide timely feedback on field issues and proposes new and/or improvements to mobility practices & processes

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related discipline
• 8+ years’ experience in international mobility / international HR management (i.e., relocation, immigration and/or mobility tax).
• Ability to work effectively with data, analyze and present insights, develop and deliver presentations.
• Knowledge of global mobility lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Experience managing external vendor relationships; understanding of elements of relocation policies, and supplier management.
• Prior HR generalist experience is a plus
