The responsibility of the Operations Manager (m/w/d) is to develop and deploy the operations strategy that supports the Measurement Products vision and corporate strategic imperatives. Has direct oversight to the management of processes, procedures and staff that allow the Ellerbek Measurement Products operation to be able to effectively and efficiently deliver quality products and solutions to our customers. Providing a focus on metrics to improve product quality, on time delivery and customer success while improving execution including lean principles and delivering superior service to enhance profitability is the key focus of this role.


MAIN TASKS:
  • Ensure full alignment with the corporate global functions and leverage the available resources to ensure consistency of the strategies and tactics developed on those organizations
  • Be responsible for establishing operating objectives for the plant during the annual strategic planning process
  • Be responsible to deliver and secure results as defined by strategies and objectives for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People 
  • Lead the S&OP process for EH Measurement Products
  • Manage the Supply and Planning team
  • Manage and communicate the change management process relative to process and product family changes
  • Identify, develop and implement process improvement plans to optimize S&OP processes to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth
  • Develop key performance indicators and monitor/analyze forecast performance 
  • Facilitate Integrated Reconciliation (IR) step, including the development of gap-closing solutions, recommendations, and scenarios that re-optimize the business and develop a viable S&OP Plan
  • Liaise with Demand Management, Finance, and Supply to maintain continuous integrated resolution of issues as they arise, as well as day to day threats and opportunities to the plan.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS Degree Required (MBA Preferred) in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, or related Field
  • 10+ years experience in manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • APICS certification desired
  • Broad functional experience or knowledge of the key S&OP processes of Product Management, Demand Management and Supply Management highly recommended 
  • Extensive experience in Lean and Six Sigma practices and implementation
  • good command of both the German and English language
