Principal Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
As a Principal Instrumentation & Controls Engineer you will work on a project task force team completing technical and economic feasibility studies, licensed technology based process design packages, and act as project lead for instrumentation and controls of detailed engineering activities. You will be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering & Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering, and a minimum of twenty years experience.
Daily our Principal Instrumentation & Controls Engineer:
• Lead projects, reporting progress, directing and coordinating work to project team members, maintaining schedules and budgets and quality (assuring checking of all deliverables).
• Oversight of all design drawings (installation details, instrument index and database, wiring and loop diagrams, etc.
• Check and direct work of high value engineering centers
Qualifications:
• Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering & Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering
• Twenty years experience on the Engineering Contractor side of Instrumentation and Control Systems, including field instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, analyzer specifications, datasheets, and calculations), as well as the systems & controls side (DCS, PLC, SIS, Fire & Gas).
• Working knowledge of SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) and other instrument database systems.
