Manufacturing Engineering



Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining most efficient machine process programs across process and product types. Provide most feasible manufacturing methods to obtain maximum manufacturing effectiveness. Write programs for CNC equipment.



·         Read part prints and technical specifications.

·         Program CNC machines using Unigraphics or other knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.

·         Perform part program, cutting tool, or troubleshooting quality or repeatability issues at the machine as needed.

·         Perform special projects to support business objectives.

·         Prepare and present training on programming methods.




·         2 plus years CNC machinery set up and operation experience both in turning and milling close tolerance machined components.

·         Previous exposure to Unigraphics or other CAD/CAM systems preferred.

·         Knowledge of work holding fixtures and machined part processing experience.

·         Understands cutting tool geometry for optimal metal removal and part processing.

·         Must be able to work well independently or with others.

·         Must be self-disciplined.

·         High School diploma or GED required.

·         Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent preferred.

·         Must possess practical computer and technical machine shop math skills such as trigonometry and geometry.

·         Must possess good communication, organizational and problem solving skills.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.




Spends 75 % of time in office environment, 25% in shop.  Exposed to possible hazards such as heavy equipment and loud noise



Spends 75% of time sitting and operating a computer or workstation.  Spends 25% of time lifting, pushing, and walking.  Some climbing.
