Are you our new Project Manager in TechnipFMC, Kuala Lumpur?


Job Purpose

  • Managing and ensuring successful delivery of iEPCI subsea projects from tender to completion phase of project.

Main Accountabilities

  • Accountable to implement a Quality and HSES culture on the project and on any manufacturing and installation sites.
  • Ensure project delivered within QHSES requirements, budget and schedule.
  • Represent TechnipFMC towards the client, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain as effective working relationship with client team and other TechnipFMC teams.
  • Ensure project start, up to close out procedures implemented.
  • Guarantee achievement or improvement on Profit forecasts.
  • Ensure lesson learnt from previous projects are implemented and the project lesson learnt are captured.
  • Accountable on technical, commercial and contractual aspects of Tender of Project.
  • Manage the Project Team.
  • Identify and mitigate issues that pose a risk to project and client relationship.

You are meant for this job if

  • Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent coupled with seven (7) years’ experience in managing EPCI subsea projects.
  • Advanced understanding of managing EPCI subsea projects.
  • Strong QHSES culture.
  • Have been exposed to projects involved rigid pipe, flexible, umbilical laying and subsea production systems installation.
  • Experience on both diving and diver less operations.
  • Capability to manage individuals in a multicultural environment.
  • Minimum required Contractual and Commercial knowledge required to manage EPCI subsea projects.
  • Have been exposed to Deep Water Projects (i.e., above 1000m water depth).
  • Have been exposed to projects exposing FPSO type mooring installation / disconnection.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry in general and preferably in the subsea field.
  • Experience in relevant design discipline; skills in planning, organization and troubleshooting; proactive in seeking solutions; proper time management; strong judgement of task prioritization; self-motivated; a team player; and excellent communication skills.
