Smith Meter GmbH in Ellerbek/Germany, a company of the TechnipFMC Group, is a subsidiary of the American TechnipFMC Measurement Solutions Division and a leading global manufacturer of mechanical, electromechanical and electronic measurement and control technology for the petroleum industry. Quality Assurance Engineer (m/w/d) 

 Continuously raise standards, Innovative, Solution-oriented, Help us solve complex problems

 

Your main tasks:

  • You ensure quality monitoring and reporting in accordance with internal requirements.
  • You support the project managers in the cause analysis and risk assessment
  • You are responsible for checking and approving the supplier's quality/ MRB documentation
  • You ensure the implementation of preventive and corrective measures
  • You participate in tests to ensure that the agreed requirements are met
  • You ensure that quality requirements are passed on and implemented to suppliers
  • You monitor critical production phases internally or at the supplier's site.
  • You create delivery documents
  • You are responsible for setting up and maintaining ITPs.
  • You actively participate in SMDR/Design Reviews (Traceability, Lifting and Information Requirements Assessment)
  • You supervise and train new employees

 

You are meant for this job if 

  • You have graduated as an electrical or mechanical engineer/technician or a comparable degree with a focus on mechanical and/or electrical competences.
  • You have several years of professional experience in technical field service
  • You have a strong understanding of electronics, ideally also ultrasonic technology
  • You convince through your communication skills
  • You convince through your structured and analytical way of working
  • You have good experience with the use of MS Office and SAP
  • Your good English language skills will help you in our international environment
  • You have the willingness and ability to travel worldwide at short notice
