The primary purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate financial closing leading to publication of monthly balance sheet and P&L, complete monthly reporting and account reconciliations and input to various Corporate financial reporting systems. Complete various monthly and quarterly financial reporting schedules and statements. Provide validation that all the proper accounting processes have been followed during the month and at closing. The Senior Accountant will support implementation and compliance with all Internal Controls.


• Validate the AP and AR entries, including the inter-company as well as cash entries.
• Coordinates the monthly close schedule and works to ensure compliance that all identified tasks are complete.
• Sets up the Accounting systems by opening and closing the proper accounting periods, as well as closing the year. .reversing entries beginning of a month when necessary.
• Is responsible for updating the Monthly Corporate Financial Reporting Systems including expanded Quarterly Reporting.
• Is responsible for the completion of various journal entries and related analysis. Performs reversing entries as needed.
• Ensures that all intercompany Out Of Balance issues are addressed as required.
• Investigate, complete and remediates Accounts Reconciliation issues as required.
• Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions.
• Is responsible for Corp-tax and any entry related to Income Tax
• Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures.
• Files any Sales tax return as necessary.
• Executes for the yearly LIFO process and resulting adjustments.
• Supports analysis and develop annual budget and monthly forecast.


• Demonstrated experience in accounting and tax.
• Demonstrated experience performing detailed reporting and analysis.
• Experience working in a SOX environment with ability to develop, support and maintain Internal Accounting Controls
• Experience leading a month end financial close process
• Working knowledge accounting standards
• Experience with Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting standards
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in an international environment desired
• Effective communication skills both oral and written.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with CPA or Advanced degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• 8+ years of experience financial accounting and Internal controls.
• Experience using mid-level operating systems etc. Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP
