Job description

The Senior Flexible Pipe Engineer is responsible for providing technically complex engineering solutions in particularly challenging environments, in accordance with industry codes and TechnipFMC standards, procedures and processes. Design activities gathering both pipe cross-section definition, in-place analysis (static and dynamic), as well as ancillaries’ equipment. These activities must respect the highest standards of safety and quality to ensure the satisfaction of the group's customers.

The Senior Flexible Pipe Engineer will also act as project lead for minor scopes, being responsible for guiding and checking the work of Junior Flexible Pipe Engineers, as well as for being the project main contact point (Client, R&D, manufacturing plant and other project disciplines).

You are meant for this job if you have
  • Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical or naval engineering;
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in the field (at least 3 years in flexible pipe design);
  • Strong technical skills in engineering;
  • Excellent command in English;
  • Good command of Office Pack and Excel;
  • Good command of dynamic analysis software (DeeplinesTM and/or OrcalfexTM);
  • Good presentation and coaching skills;
  • Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Understanding customer requirements and ability to translate them into product specifications.
