1. Senior Installation Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Installation Engineer shall be able to independently execute a large installation or operations package scope of Work (SOW) and be able to lead a team of installation engineers in a project to perform and deliver the required engineering work as per the project requirement.

The Senior Installation Engineer is required to be able to provide technically complex solutions in challenging project environment in accordance to TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, target deadlines and customer satisfaction.


JOB MAIN CHALLENGES:
• Shall be responsible for a wide range of engineering tasks
• Shall travel either onshore and offshore to perform tasks assigned
• Shall undertake training courses
• Required to work extended hours as needed to meet job/project requirements.


JOB SCOPE:

• Responsible for management and reporting of their allocated CTR’s (Cost Time Resource) in respect to their scope of work.
• Responsible of monitoring of project installation deliverables as per DRAM/MDR requirement and report back to Project Engineering Manager and Installation Discipline Manager.
• Responsible for work progress reporting to the Project Engineering Manager.
• Responsible for guidance and supervision of multiple installation engineers (1-10 installation engineers) in a project team.
• Perform Discipline Engineering Tasks based on the instructions received from the Discipline Lead.
• Responsible to provide technical and project leadership at both onshore and offshore sites as required.
• Responsible to ensure development and implementation of safe procedures and processes.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with standard legislation, design rules, TechnipFMC guidelines and Client requirements.
• Responsible for interface with Clients, Subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Responsible for instruction of other engineering disciplines within the course of the project execution phase


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Originate or check engineering deliverables on standard discipline engineering design to meet project, statutory and Technip Group rules to project schedule
• Participate in formal or informal reporting to Engineering Discipline Leader on progress of engineering tasks
• Support for the technical authority on project, tender or design study, representing the installation discipline.
• Preparation of technically robust, safe, environmentally friendly installation procedures and solutions for Subsea Installation
• Adherence to the business management system and provision of quality installation engineering to clients, both external and internal.
• Provide feedback into resource management to meet the allocated scope of work schedule requirements.
• Active participation in technical, peer, safety and readiness reviews
• Consult feedback and distribute within the team, lessons learnt, safety, information for the improvement of the team and individuals technical scope of work.
• Perform calculations and analysis as required.
• Preparation or checking of the specifications and scope of works for subcontractors, technical bid tabulations and technical support.
• Management and follow-up of subcontractors, vendors as well as interface towards other contractors or stakeholders.
• Preparation or Review of engineering task descriptions and drawing requisitions to interface with other disciplines and drafting office.
• Assist as required by projects on procurement of either permanent or temporary material/ equipment associated with discipline engineering
• Supervise other engineers on a standard discipline engineering scope of work
• Provide site engineering supervision/ technical assistance for manufacturing, fabrication and/ or installation site
• Provision of engineering management on a small EPIC or T&I project or tender relative to an allocated scope of work.
• Support Project and Engineering management via input into the development of manpower work estimates, work scope assignments, engineering schedules, Document Responsibility and Assignment Matrix (DRAM) and progress measurement system (eg Janus) for scopes of work and resources under the control of the engineer.
• Co-ordinate and / or chair project meetings including HAZID and Constructability Review sessions.
• Guide, support and train engineers under the engineer’s supervision


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Profile (Must Have):
• Good verbal and written English
• Bachelor Degree or Master of Science (MSC) in relevant engineering discipline
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry in relevant business line
• Good verbal and written English
• Minimum more than 7 years in similar job or environment with the required core technical know-how in area of expertise.

Nice to Have:
• Umbilical installation experience
• Flexible pipe installation experience
• Rigid pipe installation experience
• Heavy Lift Installation experience is an advantage.
• Experience with diving/diverless (ROV) solutions and construction techniques
• Basic survey and pre-commissioning experience
• Basic vessel motion response theory
• Orcaflex or equivalent analysis software experience
• Seafastening awareness
• Rigging design
• Planning of offshore and engineering activities
• Basic contract and commercial awareness
• Experience with offshore work


2. Installation Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

The Intermediate Installation Engineer shall be able to independently execute a medium to large size installation- or operations scope of work (SOW) package as directed and supervised by the Senior/Lead Installation Engineer in a project team.

The Intermediate Installation Engineer is required to be able to provide cost effective engineering solutions within a project task force in accordance to TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, target deadlines and customer satisfaction.


JOB MAIN CHALLENGES:
• Shall be responsible for a wide range of engineering tasks
• Shall travel either onshore or offshore to perform tasks assigned
• Shall undertake training courses
• Required to work extended hours as needed to meet job/project requirements.
• Responsible to carry out an Installation SOW package under guidance of a Senior / Lead Engineer.


JOB SCOPE:

• Responsible for management and reporting of their allocated CTR’s (Cost Time Resource) in respect to their scope of work.
• Responsible for guidance of 1 to 2 graduate engineers in a project team.
• Responsible for interface with Clients, Subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Responsible for instruction of other engineering disciplines within the course of the project execution phase.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Profile (Must Have):
• Good verbal and written English
• Degree or Master of Science (MSC) in relevant engineering discipline
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry in relevant business line
• 3 years minimum years in the oil and gas industry in relevant engineering discipline and business line (onshore/offshore/upstream/downstream) or 5 years in general engineering industry
