JOB PURPOSE:

Primarily responsible is an internal SAP consultancy role that has responsibility for investigating and identifying options for developing and improving business systems for the assigned functional area and new enhancement requests.

 

This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices for the assigned functional areas.


Reporting lines and interactions:

 

Hierarchically reports to: SAP Enhancement Manager

 

Operationally reports to: SAP Enhancement Manager



Key interactions (internally, externally):

 

Internally: ITBPs, BRPs, Functional MRs, SAP Managers, SAP end users

 

Externally: SAP Vendors & third party contractors



Typical background and experience required:

 

Must have:

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or minimum 5+ years equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years direct experience in SAP project management and enhancement.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with SD project Management.
  • Hands on experience primarily in SAP Sales and Distribution module (SD) and secondarily in Customer Service (CS).
  • Strong knowledge of order to cash processes and its functions i.e. order management, pricing, shipping, transportation, availability check, credit management, determination procedures, intercompany billing, milestone billing and lump sum billing.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service processes i.e. in-house repair process, field service, adhoc service order processing, service notification processing, time management, expense management, confirmation, resource related billing.

  • strong expertise on user exits, EDI/idoc, RFC, BAPI and data migration tools. 
  • Fully competent, experienced professional who works independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong experience in the core area of SD.
  • Resolves wide range of issues or complex problems that occurs during enhancement or project delivery where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods & techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Uses advanced analytical, technical and problem solving skills to improve operations, products, services, processes or policies
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. 

Nice to have:

  • Energy Industry experience
  • Knowledge of TechnipFMC business activities and organization
  • Integration knowledge with other SAP modules such as MM, PS and etc
  • ABAP and SAP debugging


Main accountabilities:

Development Activities

  • Be individual contributors on Enhancement requests
  • Performing configuration
  • Interacting with the technical development teams
  • Monitoring activities for assigned contractors
  • Assist “SWAT” team on development challenges and urgent support tickets.
  • Perform support activities for assigned ticket
  • Participate to establish the technical solution of the assigned enhancement requests to business processes and transaction flow.
  • Participate in testing activities whenever required.
  • Participate to recommendation and management of ongoing upgrades or improvements to existing applications to extend the benefits of previous projects
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to mitigating risks, improving quality, and resolving issues as they occur.
  • Support and advice Process Owners in process and application improvements in coordination with Delivery & Enhancement Manager and BRM/BRP’s
  • Be up to date regarding current and future system capabilities for the assigned functional area
  • Contribute to specify, test and verify ERP related security.

Support Activities

  • Assist “SWAT” team on development challenges and urgent support tickets.
  • Perform support activities for assigned ticket 

Job Responsibilities
