Senior Process Engineer 

Our Senior Process Engineering positions provide you the opportunity to work with and develop leading edge technologies around the globe.  Each day, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills, as well as collaborate with our staff, to perform a variety of process engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects.   You will prepare technical proposals and carry out process design on awarded projects, process studies, and plant start-up.

Daily our Senior Process Engineer will:
  • Analyze project specifications and inquiry requirements; develop design parameters and methodology accordingly under the supervision and guidance of a Supervising Engineer.
  • Prepare engineering calculations as required, including process simulations, equipment sizing and hydraulics.
  • Prepare process flow diagrams (PFD’s) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s) and process data sheets for equipment, instruments and safety valves.
  • Participate in design & safety reviews.
  • Guide and share knowledge with junior level engineers.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department on preparation and presentation of proposals and client meetings.
  • Uphold Technip standards of quality, applicable codes, and industry standards and practices.
  • Follow up on completed projects including start-up and performance guarantee test.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends.
  • Maintain a high professional profile.
  • Represent group in staff, vendor and client meetings when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • BS, MS Chemical Engineering, plus a minimum of five years of experience.
  • Possess proficient chemical engineering skills.
  • Have demonstrated innovation, creativity and leadership in prior experience.
  • Capable of working under minimal supervision of a more experienced engineer.
  • Experience in Ethylene Technology is a plus.
