POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Service Coordinator will be highly visible at al well site locations and will work closely with the management team and the field employees.  The Service Coordinator will be recognized as a subject matter expert and will report to the Service Manager.

POSITION DUTIES: 

  • Direct communication with company man and consultants. Perform pre-job analysis and develop appropriate plan of action.
  • Mentor and train personnel; Perform regular field audits; Conduct assessments of field staff as needed and review with training manager.
  • Make onsite personnel and equipment related decisions as required; Identify and resolve client needs
  • Identify safety issues, make recommendations to Service Manager, Operations Manager and HSE and perform necessary follow up
  • Direct and oversee Service Technician daily work activities
  • Coordinates the technical and logistic support for Service Technicians. Includes administrative functions of scheduling, workload forecasting and training of Service Technicians.
  • Schedules and directs Completion, Drilling and Controls Service Technicians by providing long and short range forecasting to ensure best match of individual capabilities to field sales and service requirements.
  • Performs inside sales and field sales of equipment and services (i.e. loose individual equipment, maintenance programs and services)
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for Service Technicians and customers to supply technical expertise and/or obtain engineering support. Assists with logistics including travel and obtaining additional parts or tools.
  • Serves as call-out representative on a rotational basis, to pull and ship after hours customer orders and field sales and service back-up.
  • Communicates tool requirements to Service Manager.
  • Participates in and directs service personnel attendance in, safety meetings, safety huddles, field sales and service to ongoing drilling and completion projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of oil field services operations
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Minimum 5 years’ oil field services experience
  • 3 or more years preferred in a supervisory role
  • Excellent leadership ability
  • Excellent time management and decision making skills
  • Above average computer skills with the flexibility to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to consistently perform in a professional manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet each project deadline
  • Possess a valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Able to work a flexible and lengthy schedule
  • Able to work proficiently in all weather conditions
  • Expert knowledge of all service equipment, operations, principles, and processes high pressure and sour wells, company policies and procedures, fluid management,
  • Incident Management, all local and federal laws as they relate to the service operations
