Under the responsability to the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for Raw Material Sourcing (Steel Wires and Stainless Steel Strips) for Subsea Infrastructure in defining, coordinating and implementing the sourcing strategy on the category.
 

Your main accountabilities :

  • Definition of the sourcing strategy on the category (Raw Material Strategy Plan) in collaboration with all the parties :

 - Identify risks & opportunities on the category in relation to the business needs (short & long term), the development strategy, the supplier capacities or issues, the cost reduction objectives and propose the action
- Responsible of the sourcing strategy application and the necessary adjustments ; Lead the Steering Committee on a quarterly basis
- Updating the Strategy Cards once a year 

  • Ensure at an early stage the good implication and coordination of the Sourcing (S), Manufacturing (M) et Engineering (E) organization
  • Monthly volume consolidation for the manufacturing units (MUs) : 
    - Build the Forecast / Committed
    - Arbitrate the volume allocation to suppliers between MUs; propose solution on supplier capacity limitation conflict for MUs in order to secure the raw material procurement for all MUs
    - Anticipate the raw material volume fluctuation with the (E) impacted by coming development
  • Commercial relation widden to Global for the Category : 
    - Manage the commercial relation for all the suppliers on the category
    - Support the MUs on purchase order dispute
    - Get the regional supply chain support on the day to day relationship with the supplier of this region
    - Negotiate yearly price & activate specific negotiation for strategic projects for the Group
    - Implement some negotiated price lists and make sure their availability to all supply chain
    - Prepare the management meeting in proposing communication plan and strategic messages to pass to the suppliers, maintain historical information (negotiation historic, supplier ID)
     
  • Identify with suppliers some qualification to optimize our product cost
  • Negotiate contracts on the category (price list, leadtime, contractual clauses), and pilot the contracting phase with the Legal Department
  • Build a contractual surveillance to define the termination or renegotiation period
  • Be the focal point for the suppliers, ensure the information diffusion internally
  • Participate to the competition surveillance (Business Intelligence)
  • Coordinate the action plan on the qualification of new products/suppliers on the category or on the qualification extension in optimizing on a regular basis the qualification roadmap and update priorities
  • Contribute actively to the risk management in handling the continuity plan and the norms & regulations applicable
  • Ensure the good management of the category with the help of the KPI
  • Support the disputes with suppliers focusing particularly in negotiating the non quality impact for the MUs

 

PROFILE

  • Education : Master Degree with purchasing, sales or technical specialization
  • Experience : Professional experience at least 5 years within industrial environment
  • Technical skills : Purchasing skills (negotiation, legal,…), aptitude to coordinate activities
  • English fluent. Portuguese could be an advantage
  • Soft skills : Survey the Economy, good relationship, methodic, rigourous, analystic and synthetic spirit, availability,  reactivity, confidentiality
