As a Sr. Engineer (Pipe Stress) you will be responsible for preparing stress analysis for both onshore (brownfield) projects as well as (brownfield / greenfield) offshore projects, coordinating with piping designers and pipe support engineers.



Your responsibilities


  • Work entirely independently following the guidelines provided by the discipline engineer

  • Caesar II calculations input and analyze static & dynamic; including wind and waves; ship motion and simple blast.

  • Prepare specifications; Pipe flex reports that meets the requirements of TechnipFMC, NoBo and client procedure.

  • You will give prior advice to the piping department about pipelines flexibility and support locations and functions and discuss technical principles with regard to his project.

  • Preparing data sheet for spring supports, estimates and price comparisons.

  • Monitoring the planning, scope, budget and schedule of requirements.

  • Interpret regulations and guidelines in his field and apply them

  • Take part in meetings to discuss scope changes.

  • Liaise with clients and third parties

  • Check and monitor quality within the project

  • You will report to the Discipline Engineer within the discipline and to the project leader/manager within the project.

  • Implement TRAs for Health, Safety and Environment relevant to the job.


Your profile


  • BSc degree or equivalent working and thinking level and at least 9 years of experience. Or Intermediate education supplemented with field-related application courses and

    approximately 16 years of experience.

  • Have the necessary knowledge of regulations, guidelines and standards in his field, and interpret these in the correct way.

  • Knowledge of engineering’s codes EN-13480, B31.3, NEN 3650, NORSOK, ASME B&P VIII and API 650.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Auto CAD,Caesar II, Nozzle Pro, VES.

  • You have excellent knowledge of English both written and spoken
