(Sr.) Project Engineer

 

The (Sr.) Project Engineer is responsible to assure that projects technical scopes are quoted and executed in a way that is aligned with the business objectives and run according to project objectives including Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs. The projects include primarily separation systems, where the separation technology part is taken care of by our in-house process experts. The (Sr.). Project Engineer is responsible for the mechanical side of the system, which is typically a framed construction with pressure vessels, piping, valves, instrumentation, pumps etc.

    
Job description
  • Manage Internal & External technical interfaces.
  • Ensure customer specifications are understood
  • Monitor engineering budget (hours) & planning.
  • Stakeholder in tender strategy meeting
  • Focus on change orders for the technical portion.
  • Provide technical inputs to the project Manager.
  • Provide input to the project engineering manager in establishing the technical project organization in order to meet objectives and other relevant strategic goals.
  • Prepare & review master engineering documentation.
  • Coordinate engineering tasks with application engineering (prioritize the work)
  • Conduct system design reviews, and attend product design reviews as required to ensure customer / industry requirements are being satisfied.
  • Provide support to operations to facilitate project execution.
  • Maintain good customer relationship by providing efficient technical support.
  • Generate system procedure and provide assistance during the test phase.
  • Maintain good communication with PMO & operations team, line manager and Manager of Projects.
  • Ensuring proper technical handover is made.
  • Maintain project files in an auditable condition
  • Provide competent input to risk assessments related to equipment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our procedures.

  

You are meant for this if:
you are a motivated candidate, with a minimum of bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) with experience with instrumentation, aiming for a career in a leading international enterprise. 5+ years’ experience with similar tasks as mentioned below is essential. You are highly motivated and have strong interpersonal and communication skills (English), besides your broad knowledge of system engineering. In this position you will work in an international environment with highly experienced colleagues. The candidate will be challenged with interesting business cases, high performance will lead to increased responsibility and career development opportunities
