We are looking for an experienced Materials Coordinator who will help manage vendor contracts and commercial agreements as well as control the flow of all inventory and third-party services required for product delivery



The job responsibilities for the Subsea Services Planner will include but are not limited to:

Tool Planning consisting of the following responsibilities: allocation of tooling in support of the project requests and reports directly to the Operations Manager.  The individual will collaborate with project teams to identify tooling available for submitted requests and manage the mobilization of the equipment. The Planner will review tool requests, determine the availability of tooling during the requested time frame, assign equipment numbers, and communicate back to the requesting party.  He/she is expected to work directly with the project team to resolve conflicts and ensure the project has the tooling necessary to support the scope of work.

The Planner will also prepare and coordinate work orders in the Subsea Services workshop. Planners perform all service order management functions.

Project Planning consisting monitoring and scheduling the flow of materials, components, assemblies or inventory through assigned projects.   Plans the manufacturing or purchasing of assigned parts, components or materials to meet project schedules.

Production Control Planner consisting of facilitating work orders in the Subsea Services workshop.  Coordination of the maintenance, modification and repair (MMR) work orders to prepare equipment for customer use according to operational requirements and priority. Planners perform all service order management functions including, but not limited to, sub-order creation, workshop capacity evaluation, workshop dispatching and scheduling, service notification/quality notification initiation and completion, third party service coordination, and some inventory analysis to ensure the project execution plan can be delivered according to customer requirements.


·         Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment.



·         Enters manufacturing sales orders into the system. 

·         Enters and releases milestone sales orders at the direction of the Project Manager.

·         Monitors the flow of inventory through assigned projects.

·         Maintains service order due dates based on contract need dates.

·         Performs and documents inventory impact review at project closing.

·         Interprets internal customer inputs for development of onshore services scope of work.

·         Develops Tactical Project Execution Plan for  workshop.

·         Forecasts resources to support the Project Execution Plan (i.e. Personnel, Tooling, Parts, Equipment, Capacity, Facilities, etc.)

·         Creates all Onshore Shop sub-service orders and the management of those orders (i.e. dates, scheduling, tracking, shortages, status, SO review for compliance to requirements)

·         Reports Project Execution Plan maintenance and statuses to internal customers.

·         Reports routine statuses to operations and other internal customers.

·         Creates and maintains short range (1-3 week) SAP workshop schedule, to include de-confliction of competing requirements and resources to create internal and external customer success.

·         Provides feedback to internal customers regarding delivery capability, work order variances, and project status.

·         Focuses on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture and initiatives.

·         Represents Subsea Services in a positive manner in events with stakeholders in our business.

·         Supports process documentation and employees complying with TFMC and/or Subsea Services specific approved procedures, processes and  standards.

·         Communicates business critical events clearly to Supervisor/Manager.

·         Monitors and manages procurement (dock to stock) to include but not limited to: shortage management and corrective action, pick requests, expediting, purchase requisitions for outside  services and inter-company POs.



·         Legally authorized to work in the job posting country – Mexico, local candidates only please.

·         B.S. in related field or equivalent years of experience.

·         Five (5) plus years of experience in material/inventory control and analysis. More experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling, materials planning, scheduling, production control or procurement with working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a plus.

·         Thorough knowledge of typical procurement and manufacturing processes, as well as a thorough understanding of SAP system.

·         Must be proficient at Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel. Must be able to demonstrate strong numerical analysis and data management skills. Must be able to communicate with English in verbal and writing.

·         Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, manufacturing routings, and work order related documents.

·         Must understand BOM structures and supply/demand information related to work order items.

·         Must understand system shortage reports and accurately ascertain critical path issues preventing production from being started.

·         Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal/negotiation skills in order to interacting with warehouse, quality, third party, engineering, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to support production.

·         Be able to handle multiple tasks down to detail level in a high stress environment. Be able to work flexible hours whenever business needs.

·         Possess the strong team player characters to take more responsibilities and to move extra step for the sake of business.



Shop floor and office combined environment. Occasionally need to work out door. Sometime exposed to high noise level. May be subject to inclement weather conditions. Fast paced environment with repetitive transactions. Multiple priorities and constant change. 



Walking between shop and office daily. Frequent sitting and operation of computer and other office equipment.
