Project Overview

 

“TechnipFMC has been awarded in May 2019 a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract by Novatek and its partners for the Arctic LNG 2 project located in the Gydan peninsula in West Siberia, Russia.

This development consists of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains, each with a capacity of 6.6 Mtpa, which will be installed on three gravity-based structure platforms. Introduction to the Job
 

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a Warehouse Superintendent based in Murmansk Yard Russia

(8x3 rotation).

 
 
Duties & Responsibilities :
                                                                       
General Accountability           
  • Reporting to the Material Manager, the Warehouse Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the offloading and receipt of delivered materials, storage of all incoming shipments and issuing of materials to contractors.

  • The incumbent will work closely with warehouse personnel, construction and procurement staff on a daily basis to ensure that equipment and materials are handled in the best manner possible.

  • The incumbent builds and maintains positive relationships, relates well to associates regardless of their personality and background and demonstrates emotional maturity even under difficult or heated circumstances.

           
Nature and Scope          
  • The position must have a strong materials knowledge and background in major international projects application. The position requires communications skills, illustrating respect for others and the ability to work in a multi-cultural group.

           
Specific Accountabilities         
  • Works closely with the Material Controllers, Material Warehouse Supervisor and unloading crew to place materials and equipment in designated areas;

  • Ensures proper storage of materials and equipment, and ensures materials are handled so as to protect the manufacturer’s warranty;

  • Controls calibrated tools and instruments;

  • Coordinates and supervises the receiving and processing of material and equipment in a timely fashion;

  • Ensures that materials are checked for damages and discrepancies against the packing list and compliance to the purchase order;

  • Ensures that material inventories are taken and properly reported;

  • Coordinates and supervises the issue of materials to the contractors, and that records of materials issued are properly maintained;

  • Coordinates and supervises the proper recording of Material Receiving Reports;

  • Other duties or functions as directed by the Material Manager;

           
Relationships          
  • Internal relationships are with all levels of project personnel to ensure objectives are met.

  • External relationships include Marian team support staff, construction site personnel and suppliers.

 

You are meant for this job if you have 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with project materials and materials management systems on very large projects.

  • Fluent in English (speak, read and written)

  • Strong Knowledge of Equipment and Materials (Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation)

 
Working Conditions           
  • Mainly outdoor and warehouse work in an international environment

  • Remote construction site location
