Workshop Technician

We are locking for skilled worker to our department in Kristiansund.

Main activity for department is refurbishment, mobilization/demobilization and repair of both customers and ours subsea tools and equipment.




- Perform work in accordance with Company procedures
- Ensure that working instructions, procedures and ethical guidelines are understood and followed
- Ensure that HSE regulations are understood and followed
- Contribute to a good work environment
- If requested, assist Workshop Supervisor in training of new personnel
- Contribute to the implementation of 5S
- Respect and endorse the importance of tidy/cleanliness
- Quality-assure own work and report non-conformities
- Participate in training relevant to performance of Work

Main tasks

- Perform maintenance/testing on subsea equipment according to scope description in Service - Orders and Procedures
- Perform SJA
- Contribute to Risk Analyses
- Report executed maintenance and testing
- Report need for maintenance and calibration of Workshop Tools
- Troubleshoot Workshop Tools and relevant Subsea Products
- Interpret and read hydraulic circuits
- Troubleshoot hydraulic equipment
- Interpret and read electric circuits
- Troubleshoot electro mechanics equipment
- Contribute to improve workshop processes and documentation
- Make sure working area and workshop is tidy/clean and safe
- Take part in modifications and project assignment when required
- Certificate of relevant apprenticeship (Subsea Installation, Mechanic, Automation, Electro etc.)

Relevant experience
- Knowledge about relevant subsea equipment and tools is preferred
- Good oral and written English language skills
